Seeing things : first in a new series @Chapter

Expert illustrated talks followed by audience discussion.

Elaine Davey, now a PhD candidate at Cardiff University. Chair of the Victorian Society's Wales group, serves on the planning committee of WHGT and other heritage groups, Deputy Area Chair for Nadfas. She will be presenting a copiously illustrated talk on Wales' foremost Victorian sculptor Sir William Goscombe John. He has many works in Cardiff, not least the much stolen "Joyance" which, hopefully, will be replaced in Thomson's Park by the time of this talk.

Each of these events is designed to get the audience thinking about the nature of our built and natural environment asking what interventions have taken place and what we would like to see around us. Further events will look at public art in Cardiff and landscapes for living.

Grab a drink from the bar and join in! All in the Media Space @Chapter Arts, Canton 6-8pm.

To secure a place tickets online or post or from Chapter box office. Members/concessions £3 others £5.
